Our Accomplishments

There's no doubt, we couldn't do this without all of our great Mobsters! A huge 'Thank You!' goes out to all of them for lending a hand on our conservation projects throughout Australia. Below is a list of everyone's achievements and the environmental outcomes gained from our projects.

2010

Roughly 120 volunteers took part in 22 different camps throughout the year at three locations

  • Brampton Island Conservation Project: 8800kg of weeds and roughly 1200kg of marine debris were collected, helping regenerate the endangered beach scrub habitat and ensuring safer beaches for turtles, seabirds and other marine life
  • Kings Run Conservation Project: 1600kg of invasive weeds and 100kg of rubbish removed from the area’s coastline, helping to restore the former cattle property to native Tasmanian coastal habitat
  • Mt Kosciuszko Conservation Project: Hundreds of new Orange hawkweed plants identified across several hectares, helping with the National Park's efforts to contain and eradicate the agressive species
